The Holy Cross Church, standing at 29 meters, is a striking five-dome structure, distinguished by its intricate Armenian lace-like stone carvings. The facade is adorned with an unprecedented collection of 33 unique khachkars (cross-stones), each masterfully crafted with distinct ornamental compositions. In addition, relief sculptures depicting sacred iconography enhance the architectural richness of the exterior.

Entirely constructed from red tuff, with roofs clad in a deep brown tuff, the church and its surrounding complex embody a profound connection to Armenia’s architectural heritage. Yet, the unparalleled craftsmanship of its ornamentation sets it apart as a unique masterpiece in the entire history of Armenian architecture.

Strategically situated at the intersection near Armenia Wine Winery, the complex reinforces a sense of place, connecting spiritual heritage with the cultural and historical identity of the region. The harmonious balance of traditional Armenian motifs with contemporary craftsmanship makes this landmark a testament to the enduring legacy of Armenian sacred architecture.
