Holy Cross Church, located at the intersection of Azatutyan Avenue and Komitas Avenue in Yerevan, is a striking example of modern Armenian architecture. Completed in 2018, the church is constructed from light-colored Ani tuff, blending contemporary design with traditional Armenian materials. The building features an elongated form that follows the contours of the avenue, with a simple and clean architectural style that emphasizes clarity and grace.
The church is topped with a large dome, symbolizing its grandeur, while a separate, contemporary bell tower stands independently from the main structure. At 42 meters tall and spanning 900 sqm, the church serves as a prominent architectural landmark, harmoniously integrating modern design elements with the enduring spirit of Armenian religious architecture.
